Salary: NJC Grade C: £25,583 - £26,403 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 19.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year until 31st August 2026 (3 days a week)

Roundswell Community Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Nursery Practitioner to join our Early Years team.

The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated Early Years team to support high-quality provision for our youngest learners.

You will help to create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or be working towards one)
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Demonstrate a warm, child-centred approach and a commitment to safeguarding
  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues and families
  • Be organised, flexible and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development
